How to:
Mount Belly Pan
Mount Control Horns
Install NBE Axles and Wheel pants on fixed landing gear
Laminate plywood with Carbon fabric
Mount Servo Tray
MOUNTING BELLY PAN
|
Cut pieces of 7/32" o.d. 3/16" i.d Al. tubing. cut 1/8" long discs
from 3/16" o.d. .035 wall Al. tubing and CA glue in one end.

|
Mark and drill holes for the Aluminum tubing. Do not drill the lip
of the belly pan at this time. |
 |
 |
|
|
|
CA glue the tube ass'y to its place centering the lip. Make fillets
all around using epoxy micro balloons mixture. |
 |
 |
|
|
| Firmly
tape the belly pan to its exact location. Drill through the holes
using a long drill. |
 |
 |
|
|
| Epoxy
glue 4-40 nuts from inside. |
 |
 |
|
|
| Fit two
locating pins and sleeves to the belly pan and fuselage at the rear. |
 |
 |
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
MOUNTING CONTROL HORNS
| Cut
pieces of 1/8" Lite ply. Mark and cut a 1/8" deep groove on the
control surfaces using your Dremel routing attachment. |
 |
|
|
Carefully epoxy the lite ply bracket inside the groove. |
 |
|
| Attach
the control horn using #2 self tapping screws. |
 |
|
| |
|
|
